Kathy Plesser, MD is a board certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging. Her practice provides mammography, ultrasound and breast MRI as well as image directed needle biopsies of the breast, including stereotactic biopsies; ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration, core and vacuum assisted biopsies; and MRI guided biopsies.

Dr. Plesser has been in both private and academic practice in Manhattan for the past 20 years and has worked closely with many of the leading breast surgeons in New York City.

She is the coauthor of numerous articles on different aspects of breast imaging and breast cancer, published in peer review journals, including several of the early articles on stereotactic breast biopsies.
